- ¾ oz (22 ml) fresh lemon juice
- 2 strawberries
- 1 dash cardamom bitters
- 1 dash rhubarb bitters
- 1½ oz (44 ml) tequila
- ½ oz (15 ml) Campari
- ½ oz (15 ml) yellow Chartreuse
- crushed ice
- strawberry slice, to garnish
- pansy, to garnish
- freshly grated cinnamon, to garnish
- 2–3 Richberry halves
How to Make It
Muddle
Muddle the lemon juice and strawberries in the bottom of a cocktail shaker.
Dry shake
Add both bitters, the tequila, Campari and yellow Chartreuse and shake without ice. Tip everything into a footed pilsner glass.
Swizzle
Fill with crushed ice and swizzle with a bar spoon until the glass frosts, then heap more crushed ice on top.
Garnish
Finish with the strawberry slice, a pansy and a little freshly grated cinnamon.
Add the Richberry twist
Just before your first sip, chew 2–3 Richberry halves gently and let them linger for about 30 seconds. Discard any pit, then taste how the sour notes turn sweet.
Richberry changes the taste, not the drink: a cocktail may taste softer, but it is just as strong. Please enjoy it responsibly.
