Ingredients

Showing the cocktail. Switch to Mocktail for the alcohol-free version.

  • 8 oz (237 g) strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 oz (60 ml) cognac
  • 2 (1 litre) bottles white wine
  • 2 (1 litre) bottles Champagne
  • large block of ice
  • 2–3 Richberry halves

How to Make It

  1. Crush the strawberries

In a punch bowl, crush the strawberries with a muddler, then pour in the cognac and 8 oz (237 ml) of the white wine. Leave to stand for about an hour.

  2. Add ice and wine

When you're ready to serve, add a large block of ice and pour in the rest of the white wine and both bottles of Champagne.

  3. Serve

Stir gently and ladle into glasses.

  4. Add the Richberry twist

Just before your first sip, chew 2–3 Richberry halves gently and let them linger for about 30 seconds. Discard any pit, then taste how the sour notes turn sweet.

Richberry changes the taste, not the drink: a cocktail may taste softer, but it is just as strong. Please enjoy it responsibly.

Mocktail (Non-Alcoholic)

Steep the strawberries in a little apple juice instead of the cognac and wine, then add the rest of the juice and the sparkling water.
