Ingredients

- ½ cup crushed ice, or as needed
- 4 fl oz Fine Champagne cognac
- 2 fl oz cherry liqueur
- 1 fl oz orange liqueur
- 1 fl oz fresh lemon juice
- 5 drops vanilla bitters, or more to taste
- 4 dashes aromatic bitters
- 2–3 Richberry halves
How to Make It
Fill the glasses
Fill two lowball glasses with crushed ice.
Stir
Divide the cognac, cherry liqueur, orange liqueur and lemon juice between the glasses and stir.
Add the bitters
Finish each with 2 or 3 drops of vanilla bitters and 2 dashes of aromatic bitters, then stir once more.
Add the Richberry twist
Just before your first sip, chew 2–3 Richberry halves gently and let them linger for about 30 seconds. Discard any pit, then taste how the sour notes turn sweet.
Richberry changes the taste, not the drink: a cocktail may taste softer, but it is just as strong. Please enjoy it responsibly.
