Salty Lime Soda
Toasted curry leaves and makrut lime leaf muddled with salt, shaken with fresh lime and white rum, then lengthened with club soda. Salty, fragrant and bracing; let a few Richberry halves linger first and the lime loses its bite.

Ingredients

- 6 fresh curry leaves
- 2 makrut lime leaves, cut into thin ribbons
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup fresh lime juice
- 2 oz white rum
- ice cubes
- 1 cup club soda, chilled
- 2–3 Richberry halves
How to Make It
Toast the curry leaves
Toast the curry leaves in a dry frying pan over medium heat for 2–3 minutes, shaking the pan often, until fragrant and dry.
Muddle
Tip them into a cocktail shaker, add the lime leaves and salt and muddle well.
Shake and top
Add the lime juice, rum and ice and shake hard. Strain into an ice-filled glass and top with the club soda.
Add the Richberry twist
Just before your first sip, chew 2–3 Richberry halves gently and let them linger for about 30 seconds. Discard any pit, then taste how the sour notes turn sweet.
Richberry changes the taste, not the drink: a cocktail may taste softer, but it is just as strong. Please enjoy it responsibly.
