Ingredients

  • 2 oz (60 ml) aged rum
  • 1 oz (30 ml) fresh pineapple juice
  • ½ oz (15 ml) fresh lime juice
  • ½ oz (15 ml) ginger syrup
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • ice
  • sparkling water, to top
  • orange wedge, to garnish
  • candied ginger, to garnish
  • 2–3 Richberry halves

How to Make It

  1. Shake

Shake the rum, pineapple juice, lime juice, ginger syrup and bitters hard with ice.

  2. Strain and top

Strain into a highball glass over fresh ice and top with sparkling water.

  3. Garnish

Skewer the orange wedge and a piece of candied ginger on a cocktail pick and rest it on the glass.

  4. Add the Richberry twist

Just before your first sip, chew 2–3 Richberry halves gently and let them linger for about 30 seconds. Discard any pit, then taste how the sour notes turn sweet.

Richberry changes the taste, not the drink: a cocktail may taste softer, but it is just as strong. Please enjoy it responsibly.
