Ingredients

  • 1 oz (30 ml) dark rum
  • ½ oz (15 ml) dry curaçao
  • ½ oz (15 ml) fresh lime juice
  • ½ oz (15 ml) orgeat
  • ice
  • crushed ice
  • sparkling wine, to top
  • mint sprig, to garnish
  • maraschino cherry, to garnish
  • icing sugar, to dust
  • 2–3 Richberry halves

How to Make It

  1. Shake

Shake the rum, curaçao, lime juice and orgeat with ice.

  2. Strain and top

Strain into a large snifter filled with crushed ice and top with sparkling wine.

  3. Garnish

Add the mint sprig and cherry, then dust the top with icing sugar.

  4. Add the Richberry twist

Just before your first sip, chew 2–3 Richberry halves gently and let them linger for about 30 seconds. Discard any pit, then taste how the sour notes turn sweet.

Richberry changes the taste, not the drink: a cocktail may taste softer, but it is just as strong. Please enjoy it responsibly.

A sparkling Mai Tai, reimagined with Richberry.

Mocktail (Non-Alcoholic)

The original already offers sparkling water instead of wine; top up a little more generously to make up for the rum.
