Juicy. Chunky. Refreshing.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) pineapple chunks, with their juice
  • 1 apple peeled, cored and diced
  • 1 orange peeled and diced, juice reserved
  • 1 banana sliced
  • 1 cup seedless green grapes, halved

How to make it

  1. Prepare the fruit

Peel, core and dice the apple. Peel and dice the orange over a plate to catch the juice, slice the banana and halve the grapes.

  2. Toss together

In a large bowl, combine the pineapple chunks, apple, orange, banana and grapes, then pour over the juice from the can and the saved orange juice.

  3. Chill until serving

Cover and keep the salad in the fridge until you are ready to eat.

The Richberry difference

A naturally brighter taste

Miraculin, the protein in the miracle berry, can make sour flavours taste sweeter for a while. The food itself stays the same; only your taste changes.

Tip

If you make it ahead, add the banana just before serving so it stays firm.

Serve with

A spoonful of plain yogurt, or as a fresh side at brunch or a barbecue.

Richberry tip

Just before you eat, chew 1–2 halves gently and let them linger for about 30 seconds. Discard any pit.
