Ingredients

Showing the cocktail. Switch to Mocktail for the alcohol-free version.

  • 1 oz (30 ml) mezcal
  • ½ oz (15 ml) overproof Jamaican rum
  • ½ oz (15 ml) biscotti liqueur or amaretto
  • ½ oz (15 ml) fresh orange juice
  • ½ oz (15 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • ½ oz (15 ml) ginger syrup
  • crushed ice
  • orange wedge, to garnish
  • freshly grated nutmeg, to garnish
  • 2–3 Richberry halves

How to Make It

  1. Shake

Add the mezcal, rum, biscotti liqueur, orange juice, lemon juice and ginger syrup to a cocktail shaker and shake without ice.

  2. Pour and garnish

Pour into a highball glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with the orange wedge and a grating of fresh nutmeg.

  3. Add the Richberry twist

Just before your first sip, chew 2–3 Richberry halves gently and let them linger for about 30 seconds. Discard any pit, then taste how the sour notes turn sweet.

Richberry changes the taste, not the drink: a cocktail may taste softer, but it is just as strong. Please enjoy it responsibly.
