Chocolate coffee liqueur cake
Sweet moments, naturally.

Ingredients

  • 1 (18.25 oz) box devil's food cake mix
  • 1 small (1 oz) box sugar-free instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • ⅓ cup skim milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 large egg whites
  • ⅓ cup coffee liqueur
  • ⅓ cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • cocoa powder, for dusting

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Coat a 13x9-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray and dust it with cocoa.

  2. Mix the batter.

Put everything except the chocolate chips in a large bowl and beat with a mixer for 2 minutes, until well blended. Stir in the chocolate chips.

  3. Bake and cool.

Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 50 minutes, or until a wooden pick in the middle comes out clean. Let it cool before cutting.

Good to know

Miraculin, the natural protein in miracle berry, can make sour foods like lemon taste sweet without adding sugar. For the best results, take 1–2 halves and follow the directions on your pack.
