Ingredients

  • 1½ oz cognac
  • ½ oz elderflower liqueur
  • 2 dashes absinthe
  • ice
  • sparkling wine, to top
  • orange twist, to garnish
  • 2–3 Richberry halves

How to Make It

  1. Shake

Add the cognac, elderflower liqueur and absinthe to a cocktail shaker, fill with ice and shake until thoroughly chilled.

  2. Strain and top

Double strain into a chilled champagne flute and top up with sparkling wine.

  3. Garnish

Twist the orange peel over the glass to release its oils, then drop it in.

  4. Add the Richberry twist

Just before your first sip, chew 2–3 Richberry halves gently and let them linger for about 30 seconds. Discard any pit, then taste how the sour notes turn sweet.

Richberry changes the taste, not the drink: a cocktail may taste softer, but it is just as strong. Please enjoy it responsibly.

Mocktail (Non-Alcoholic)

Every liquid here is alcoholic, so shake apple juice with ice, strain into the flute, top with sparkling water and twist the orange peel over it.
