Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups (360 g) plain whole-milk Greek yogurt
- 2 cups (240 g) blueberries, fresh or frozen
- 8 oz (200 g) açaí purée (2 packets, 4 oz each)
- 2 tsp limoncello liqueur
- 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
Directions
Blend the base.
Put the Greek yogurt, blueberries and açaí into a blender or food processor, in that order, and blend until smooth.
Strain the mixture.
Push it through a fine sieve to remove the seeds and grit. Don't skip this, or the frozen yogurt will be gritty.
Add the lemon and chill.
Whisk in the limoncello and lemon juice, then refrigerate the base for at least 1 hour.
Churn.
Churn in an ice cream maker for 20 to 30 minutes, then transfer to an airtight container for storing.
