Ingredients
Showing the cocktail. Switch to Mocktail for the alcohol-free version.
- 2½ oz (74 ml) bourbon
- 2 dashes Peychaud's bitters
- 1 dash absinthe
- 1 dash orange bitters
- ice
- long lemon twist, to garnish
- 2–3 Richberry halves
How to Make It
Stir
Stir the bourbon, both bitters and the absinthe with ice in a mixing glass. If you have one large ice cube, build it straight in the glass instead and stir 5 or 6 times.
Strain over ice
Strain over fresh ice into a double old-fashioned glass.
Add the twist
Squeeze the lemon twist over the top, run it round the rim and drop it in.
Add the Richberry twist
Just before your first sip, chew 2–3 Richberry halves gently and let them linger for about 30 seconds. Discard any pit, then taste how the sour notes turn sweet.
Richberry changes the taste, not the drink: a cocktail may taste softer, but it is just as strong. Please enjoy it responsibly.
Cheers to Bolder Flavours, Brighter Moments
A stirred bourbon sipper, reimagined with Richberry.
Mocktail (Non-Alcoholic)
With the bourbon, bitters and absinthe gone, pour ginger beer over a large ice cube; its spice stands in for the whiskey. Keep the lemon twist.
