Ingredients
Showing the cocktail. Switch to Mocktail for the alcohol-free version.
- 1½ oz (44 ml) gin
- ½ oz (15 ml) fresh lemon juice
- 1 oz (30 ml) apricot brandy
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- ice
- long lemon twist, to garnish
- 2–3 Richberry halves
How to Make It
Shake
Add the gin, lemon juice, apricot brandy and bitters to a cocktail shaker, fill with ice and shake vigorously.
Strain
Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Twist and garnish
Curl a long strip of lemon peel round your finger so it holds its shape. Squeeze it over the drink, run it round the rim and drop it in.
Add the Richberry twist
Just before your first sip, chew 2–3 Richberry halves gently and let them linger for about 30 seconds. Discard any pit, then taste how the sour notes turn sweet.
Richberry changes the taste, not the drink: a cocktail may taste softer, but it is just as strong. Please enjoy it responsibly.
Cheers to Bolder Flavours, Brighter Moments
A gin and apricot sour, reimagined with Richberry.
Mocktail (Non-Alcoholic)
Shake the lemon with apple juice instead of the gin and apricot brandy; the lemon twist keeps it aromatic.
