Astoria
An equal-parts martini of gin and dry vermouth, brightened with a couple of dashes of orange bitters and finished with lemon peel. Softer and more aromatic than a dry martini, it makes an elegant aperitif.

Ingredients
Showing the cocktail. Switch to Mocktail for the alcohol-free version.
- 1½ oz (44 ml) gin
- 1½ oz (44 ml) dry vermouth
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- ice
- long lemon twist, to garnish
- 2–3 Richberry halves
How to Make It
Stir
Stir the gin, vermouth and orange bitters with ice in a mixing glass until very cold.
Strain
Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Add the twist
Squeeze the lemon twist over the drink, rub it round the rim and drop it into the glass.
Add the Richberry twist
Just before your first sip, chew 2–3 Richberry halves gently and let them linger for about 30 seconds. Discard any pit, then taste how the sour notes turn sweet.
Richberry changes the taste, not the drink: a cocktail may taste softer, but it is just as strong. Please enjoy it responsibly.

A fifty-fifty martini, reimagined with Richberry.
Mocktail (Non-Alcoholic)
Chilled green tea, stirred and strained into the coupe, makes a dry, grassy sipper; the lemon peel adds the aroma.
